About Me

My purpose on this earth, I’m not sure I understand it yet fully. I’ve identified many gifts that have been chosen for me and do my best to use them to positively contribute to the world. I have no regrets, no known enemies, and have caused no conscious harm to anyone or anything that I’m aware of. I’ve faced death, medically, twice (ruptured appendectomy and pre-cancerous mastectomy). Both changed my life for the better. I’ve birthed three children (in two pregnancies – twins), all of whom I love dearly. I married my best friend,  who has been by my side and taught me how to let down my guard and to be loved unconditionally. I’m determined, strong, and passionate about everything I do. It’s hard for me to let go of control. I’m focused and always looking ahead. The most important thing I’ve learned, however, is to stop, every day… and appreciate where I are, what I have, who I am and what the world has given to me. There is no guarantee of tomorrow…

I welcome you to my blog and hope you enjoy this journey with me; my thoughts about the world, my realizations about parenting and marriage, and my personal growth… my life. Thank you for allowing me in.

  1. I love it! An open and honest heart! How much more integrity in life is there than that!!?? I will DEFINITELY look forward to following your writing! Your short bio there could have almost mirrored mine except for the medical details and of having just two boys, but oh what a life!!
    God bless, Renee

  2. In the short time I posted this, I have read a couple more posts and I just have to re-say, God Bless you so much. I have a placed a link to your site on my left-side navigation menu under the heading entitled: Some Blogs I Follow
I hope you do not mind, but I will remove it if you object with no hard feelings what-so-ever!

    • Thank you for your wonderful comments! I have been unable to write lately, as my family is in the middle of a move. I look forward to getting back to it soon, as well as checking out your blog as well. God bless, Renee.

  3. This is a comment I am giving to ALL the past WP Blogs I used to follow and the links I used to post because of your site. I am the Pastor of Oasis Bible Ministry and I have been away from WordPress for about a year to 14 months. Due to health and computer problems both, I had to quit for a while, but the Lord has been speaking to my heart to get back and do what HE asked me to do. So, I am in the process of doing a new blog, “For the Love of God” under the outreach of Oasis Bible Ministry.

I am sorry for not being able to let anyone know until now, but I do apologize as so many of you had visited and of course, through that, the Holy Spirit led me to your sites. One of the reasons, I am writing a letter as a form for all, is because I am going through the links I have from before and with your permission, posting them on my blog on a links page. Some of you may already be in the “Blogs I Follow” section, but since it only holds 50 and I like so many more, I thought it is only fitting to make a separate page for the rest of the blogs I like.

I believe in Body Ministry and gifts that the Holy Spirit equips everybody who calls Christ Jesus Lord, and therefore, it is only fitting to let others see what the Holy Spirit is doing in other areas of His Church. Please believe me; this is NOT an attempt to draw anyone back. That is between the person and the Lord. He called me to do what I do as He called each of you. I just have to do what He says, it is up to Him to draw people to His Word as He gifts me.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience of those who followed me and then ended up with a “blank gravatar” for I do sincerely apologize. But, I do sincerely pray God’s richest blessings on each of you AND if per chance, you do NOT want me to post your link, I will remove it per your wishes. Again, thanks AND again, God bless you!
P.S. Still love what I see! I have placed your link on a Links Page. If you would rather I didn’t just let me know! Sorry about the time lost, will try to make it up by reading more when I’m not writing!
