I am not anti-gun. I chose not to own one, as I would likely be one of those people who would accidentally shoot my own foot. I am pro-choice. Though I would not personally chose to have an abortion, I can’t even begin to try to understand the circumstances of a woman in a situation who would consider this option. I wear my seatbelt and abide by traffic laws, not because it’s the law but because it’s proven to keep myself and others safe. I pay my taxes. I donate to the poor. It’s not my place to judge whether they deserve the money, have made good or bad decisions, or deserve to be in their situation. It’s simply my place as a human being to help another out.

I understand that we are simple people. Rules are needed and people need to be told what is right and what is wrong. Even then we still challenge many of these rules. I simply wish that people would make individual decisions based on what is in the best interest of the people in this country as a whole, and forget about themselves for a change.
